Is today Black Friday and what are the best deals so far? – The Sun

BLACK Friday is one of the biggest sale days of the year and is always celebrated in November.

Knowing when it's happening can be confusing, as the date changes every year depending on the date of Thanksgiving in America.

Black Friday always happens the day after Thanksgiving, and it is a day when stores across the UK and US offer huge discounts and great deals to customers.

Thanksgiving always takes place on the fourth Thursday of November, so the date varies from year to year.

The date usually falls between November 23 and 29 – and in 2019 Black Friday will take place on November 29.

That means we still have two weeks until the biggest day of sales, but many stores are launching early deals ahead of Black Friday.
