Tributes are flooding in for a teenager who drowned after falling into a harbour on a night out with friends.
Finley Gannon, 19, from Skerries, Dublin was recovered from the waters in Balbriggan Harbour, north of the Irish capital on Saturday afternoon.
The popular youngster was reportedly well-known in the local area with people showing “shock” at the tragic news.
A source told Dublin Live : “The whole community is shocked and saddened at the loss of Finley. He always had a cheeky grin on his face and would make anyone smile.
“Skerries has a dark cloud hanging over it this weekend.”

Social media was awash with tributes, with family member posting: “Fly high with the angels our cousin Finley Gannon.. taken far too soon..our hearts are broken xx”
Another said: “Absolutely devastated, until we meet again.”
A cousin wrote: “You were to good for this world Finley. Please give your family the strength to get through this, you will be missed so much. Rest In Peace cuz.”
A work colleague said: “Absolutely heartbreaking news. Such a funny a bubbly guy.. It was a pleasure to know you and to have worked with you! RIP.”
A classmate of Finley said he always had a smile on his face and was "always happy and upbeat."
He said: “Always ready to play football or go out with his friends. He was always smiling and always great fun in class.”
A Garda spokesman said: “The body of a male in his late teens was recovered from the water at Balbriggan Harbour at 1.40pm.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Connolly hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.”
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
