The baker behind Lilibet Diana's first birthday cake has counted it among her "greatest hits" of 2022.
Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, celebrated their daughter Lilibet's birthday while in the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and the couple where they marked the occasion with a small garden party, including picnic food, party games and balloons.
East London baker Claire Ptak said making Lilibet's cake was one of the highlights of the last 12 months.
Sharing a picture of some of her favourite creations on Instagram, she said: "Our 2022 Greatest Hits. Thank you to all our customers and supporters last year for inspiring such beautiful work.
"Thank you to my incredible team for executing it all with so much fun, humour and passion."
The two-tiered cake sponge was Amalfi lemon and elderflower – the same flavour Claire created for the Duke and Duchess’s wedding in 2018.
It was covered with in a pale pink strawberry buttercream, topped with pink and cream peonies and a little orange banner which said "Lilibet."
Posting at the time, baker Claire said: "It was an absolute pleasure to make this special cake last week for Lilibet’s birthday. Wishing her a very happy year ahead!"
The tot turned one on Saturday 4 June and the Sussexes celebrated with a low-key affair in Windsor at Frogmore Cottage.
Mike and Zara Tindall’s three children eight year old Mia, three year old Lena and one year old Lucas, as well as Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly’s two daughters 11 year old Savannah and Isla, ten, were said to be invited to the event.
Meghan and Harry shared a rare photo of their daughter at her garden picnic party as they reflected on her first birthday.
The adorable photograph shows Lilibet – named in tribute to her great grandmother the Queen – happily plonked on the green grass.
Strawberry-blonde and smiling, she posed in a sweet light blue and white dress, with a white bow in her hair.
