Now you see it, now you don’t.
At the European premiere of “Mary Poppins Returns” held at Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday night, Emily Blunt wound up performing a bit of a disappearing act.
The 35-year-old actress wore a flowing royal blue silk satin gown from the Schiaparelli fall 2018 couture collection with an ornately folded neckline, bishop sleeves and a mermaid skirt with a slight train.
The dress also happened to be the exact same shade as the event’s carpet, which was turned blue for the evening in honor of her iconic character’s blue skirt suit — and at certain points during Blunt’s walk past the line of photographers, her gown seemed to be melting into the scenery.
And here you thought Mary Poppins was the only one with some magic tricks tucked away in that carpet bag.
