Emily Atack gets a convincing Katy Perry beauty transformation complete with lilac hair

It seems Emily Atack is attempting to dye her hair every pastel colour going before we hit Easter. The Inbetweeners star only just unveiled a peachy pink colour last week, but has already decided to switch up her look again to a pastel purple.

It’s clear, however, Emily hasn’t gone for a permanent colour change this time, as the shiny lilac hue is definitely the result of a wig. The whole look, which is meant to mimic Katy Perry’s iconic California Gurls get-up, was for a new episode of Celebrity Juice. She posted the full outfit and beauty look on her Instagram for fans to get a good look at.

“Welcome to the Keith and Katy UK tour,” Emily captioned the gorgeous snap.

“You look so much like her Em,” praised one fan, while another commented: “Love this look, definitely keep the hair.”

A third said: “Hardly recognised you!”

Emily then gave her followers a further look at her makeup and hair in more Instagram Story uploads. Fans are definitely right when they say that the 32 year old makes a great Katy impersonator – Emily has nailed the singer’s pastel smokey makeup and defined pout. Her bright violet hair could also be an exact copy of the one Katy wore when she filmed the Cali Gurls music video.

In other Emily news, she only just surprised fans last when she debuted a peachy-coloured hair transformation at Vanity Fair’s EE Rising Star Party. The actress was pictured in professional photos showing off her peach-coloured tresses, but also gave her Instagram followers an extra glimpse at the look with a glamorous grid post.

“Peachy Keen,” she captioned it, adding a peach emoji for extra measure.

“This hair colour is everything,” wrote one fan in the comment section.

Another said: “So lovely, that colour really suits you,” while a third chimed in with: “Oh my gosh I want to dye my hair that colour now.”

Varying shades of pink and peach hair were incredibly popular last year, especially during the lockdowns, when people attempted to give their growing-out blondes a bit of a tonal boost at home. We wonder if Emily’s new lilac will inspire that to be the new hue for 2022!
