Disney+ just took a big step in plans for its Daredevil reboot. According to a new report from Variety, Matt Corman and Chris Ord have signed on to write and executive produce the series. However, Disney+ itself has yet to confirm the show is in development.
Corman and Ord previously worked together on USA Network’s Cover Affairs, which aired from 2010 to 2014. They also served as executive producers on NBC’s The Enemy Within and The Brave, plus the CW’s Containment.
The news comes after rumors about the Daredevil reboot circulated earlier this year. Production Weekly listed the series in its March issue, stating that it would begin production soon. However, an official date was not provided.
Many Marvel fans have pushed for a Daredevil reboot since the original Netflix series’ cancellation in 2018. Charlie Cox, the actor behind the superhero, recently reprised his role as Daredevil’s secret identity, Matt Murdock, in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
