Disney's 'biggest fan' has revealed she moved 500 miles to be closer to Disneyworld and spends thousands there each year.

A lot of people are fans of the Disney franchise when they're growing up.

However Disney is a huge part of mum-of-three Alice Payne's life.

The 26-year-old has revealed that her and her husband Austin, 27, moved 500 miles from South Carolina to Florida so they could be close to Disneyworld when she began pregnant for the third time.

She said: "People told me that we were nuts to do it but I didn’t care. I love everything about Disneyland.

"I love the magic. I could go and sit in front of the castle forever – especially if I’m having a bad day."

She continued telling Fabulous magazine: "And seeing it through my kids’ eyes is really sweet and that’s why we kept going."

Before moving to Florida, the family had been getting up at 5am and taking 18-hour round-trips in a single weekend every month to make it by the park by lunchtime.

And with baby Van on the way, Alice said she wanted to be based near "the most magical place on earth".

Alice added: I'd always be sad and crying on the car journey back to South Carolina.

"One of my favourite Sleeping Beauty quotes is 'If you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true' and that’s actually something I used to help us when we moved closer to Disney.

Alice and Austin even spent their honeymoon at Disneyworld when they tied the knot in 2015.

This included meeting all the characters and going on all the rides, as Alice called the day "magical".

They even stayed there for another week for their honeymoon.

Alice now takes the couple's three children up to five times a week – and the family's annual passes sets them back $2,700 [£2,000] every year.

To cut down costs, Alice will bring her own food into the park and takes the kids between their morning nap and dinner to avoid crowds.

Growing up in the mid-1990s when Disney Princesses were all the rage, Alice said her and her three sisters were all obsessed with the movies.

However, she said Aurora [Sleeping Beauty] became her favourite because she loves pink and she thinks she looks most like her.
