Cheltenham Festival tips: Mares' Novices' trends – we help you find the winner of the race live on ITV at 4.50pm today

THERE have been just four runnings of this race so you can’t really say that strong trends have developed yet.

But a quick look at the roll of honour points to just one name — Willie Mullins. The Irish champion trainer has taken this each time and three of them were odds-on favourites.

Even last year when Eglantine Du Seuil shocked the Festival by winning at 50-1 she came from the Closutton genius.

There won’t be a real hotpot this season and Mullins has four in the race — Colreevy, Dolcita, Concertista and Yukon Lil.

The trend we have to go on is that the three winners to have an official rating were on a mark in the 140s.

That points this time to CONCERTISTA who is 141 while her stablemates are all a good bit lower.

If you think the prize may leave Mullins for the first time, the other runners with the right mark at Minella Melody – who could also have the positive favourite trend – and Floressa.
