Body-positive influencer praised for sharing ‘flawless skin’ in unfiltered snap

An influencer has been applauded for her latest unfiltered snap on social media.

Megan Rose is a spiritual mentor and body-positive model who is known for her no-nonsense attitude online.

The UK-based star boasts 369,000 followers on Instagram where she shares her positive energy among her fans.

Now in her latest upload, Megan shared two snaps, one of which is unfiltered with a series of words.

She wrote in her caption: "When I think about the time in my life where I couldn't upload a photo without a filter.

"It wasn't because I wanted to be more beautiful, have flawless skin or fit into the societies idea of what was physically attractive."

She also revealed how not allowing herself to be seen as "normal" created an anxiety deep within her.

Megan added: "I was fighting against reality every single day, denying myself the grace to just be a messy, raw, imperfect woman.

"When you remove the shame, you make space to expand into your fullest, realest self.

"And as time goes on, the shame is replaced with genuine pride and so much inner peace."

The influencer ended the post: "Taking off the mask isn't always just about removing a silly Instagram filter to embrace your face/skin.

"For some of us it's so much more.

"It's the reclamation of our power and full permission to be who we truly are, physically, emotionally and spiritually."

In the first photo, Megan can be seen without make-up as she labelled herself "human" and "not perfect".
