It was revealed earlier in the week that pop star Ariana Grande had married her real estate agent boyfriend Dalton Gomez in a secret ceremony at the star’s home in California.
Confirming the marriage, a rep for the singer said: "They got married. It was tiny and intimate, with fewer than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."
Naturally, when it comes to celebrity weddings, we are eager to get the first look at not only the wedding dress but also the wedding ring.
Sadly for us, neither has been revealed at the moment so we will have to keep waiting for the pictures.
However, luckily for us, we can still admire the beautiful engagement ring which Ariana shared on her Instagram in December last year until we see the new ring.
Taking to her social media to post the stunning picture, the ring not only had a sparkling oval-shaped, 5-carat diamond but it was also put alongside a dainty pearl which held great sentimental value.
The pearl was reported to be a connection to a tie pin ring in which Ariana’s grandfather previously gave her.
After showing off her giant rock, searches for oval-shaped diamonds increased with up to 28,300 monthly searches according to Vera Clinic.
This isn’t the only time that we have seen this shape of diamond become the center of attention for shoppers.
Back in 2011, we saw Prince William pass on his late mother’s, Princess Diana’s iconic blue sapphire ring to his wife, Kate Middleton.

We first saw the 12-carat oval blue sapphire ring when Prince Charles gifted the ring to Diana when the couple got engaged in February 1981.
Since both these world-famous ladies wore the brilliant jewel, could it be said that Dalton was inspired by Kate to get the same for the love of his life?
We’re big fans of how both women incorporated sentimental value into their rings and we can’t wait to see the unveiling of the wedding ring when more details emerge.
