Aldi shoppers go wild for cast iron Le Creuset pot dupes that are £235 cheaper than original

Shoppers and bargain hunters have been raving about Aldi's version of Le Creuset's cast iron pots and pans.

The stunning casserole dishes look just like the designer version and are only £20 – a fraction of the £255 price tag on the Le Creuset range.

A TikToker named Becca, who documents her bungalow renovation and homeware hauls on her @rennovationliving account, shared her discovery of the dupe with her 128k followers.

In a video showing off the cream pot with a stunning brass knob, she said: "Bargain Aldi dupe incoming – Le Creuset casserole dish dupe."

The pots and pans are available in different sizes and can be purchased both in store and online in red or cream colourways.

Becca's followers commented on the video, confirming that the pots were worth the hype.

"I’ve got these as a set, yes heavy but easy to wash," said one person's review.

"I have this. And I absolutely love cooking with it!" said another.

One person loved the look of the pot so much she considered redoing her whole kitchen to match it.

She said: "I have no idea what I'd do with that but now I want it and to change my kitchen colour scheme."

However, others were put off by the weight of the cookware.

"They’re nice but too heavy to wash haha," noted one person.

Another remarked, "This is so beautiful but I despise cooking in cast iron pans. They’re so heavy."

Becca responded to them saying, "I haven’t tried cooking with it yet but it is pretty heavy you’re right xx."
