Al Roker takes back 9 a.m. hour of ‘Today’ after ‘Megyn Kelly’ demise; who’s joining him?

Nearly three months after NBC canceled “Megyn Kelly Today,” the network has named the 9 a.m. time slot’s new occupants.

The hour will be hosted by “Today” stalwart Al Roker, who used to host that hour with Tamron Hall before Kelly’s arrival. He’ll be joined by MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin, NBC News meteorologist Dylan Dreyer and NBC News correspondent Sheinelle Jones.

While Kelly has been off the air, the show – currently dubbed “Today Third Hour” – has been kept afloat by other members of the NBC morning franchise including Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Roker and Melvin.

“Hope you don’t mind these faces,” Dreyer tweeted Monday. “You’ll be seeing a lot of them at 9am. Please join us!”

Roker shared the post, adding “I love these guys.”
