A sacrifice, a horrible discovery and an old flame in Home and Away

This week on Home and Away, Mia (Anna Samson) tries her best to escape the cops with Matthew’s (James Sweeny) body in the boot of her car, but Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) intercepts her and makes the gruesome discovery. As Mia is held in custody, Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) shows up and quickly assesses the situation before making a decision which will tear his family apart forever…

Elsewhere, Roo (Georgie Parker) and Justin (James Stewart) are concerned when Ryder (Lukas Radovich) and Theo (Matt Evans) don’t come home, and when they see the latest prank video they realise how much trouble the two could be in. They race to the site and manage to get Ryder out of his coffin, but as Ryder lies in a hospital bed Theo is given a harsh reality check – and faces Alf’s (Ray Meagher) wrath.

Meanwhile, Logan (Harley Bonner) gets the last text he was expecting and goes to find out if it’s true. Waiting near the Surf Club for him is Neve (Sophie Bloom), his old flame who he lost contact with years ago. Neve explains why she’s been underground for a while, and says she wants to make up for lost time. As the two kiss on the Pier, though, Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) walks past and catches them in the act…

Here’s what’s coming up on Home and Away for the week beginning Monday March 7.

Mia is arrested for murder after Cash catches her

Mia is forced to try and fix the situation Chloe has accidentally pushed them both into after she smashed a brick over Matthew’s head and left him unconscious. Suspecting the worst, she bundles Matthew’s body into the back of his car and drives away, but it isn’t long before Cash gives chase and calls for backup, eventually blocking her in and forcing her to stop. When Cash opens her boot, he makes a gruesome discovery that results in her arrest…

Ari makes a decision which splinters his family

Mia is taken into custody, and before too long Ari shows up and asks to speak with her. However Cash can’t let him do that, but Ari tells him that if he is allowed to speak with her he will tell him exactly who killed Matthew. He finds out what Mia has told the cops and then makes a heartbreaking decision – he is going to ensure Chloe and Mia don’t have to face prison by taking the fall himself. He tells Cash that he got too angry with Matthew and Mia is set free, with Ari being put behind bars instead…

Chloe prepares to make a full confession to the cops

Chloe is consumed with guilt once Mia returns home and the Paratas discover that Ari could be facing a life sentence in prison for murder. Nikau reacts particularly badly to the news, furious that his uncle could be facing prison again. He is adamant that the cops will understand if Chloe tells the truth and says it was self defence. Left with food for thought, Chloe makes her way to the station and asks if she can speak with Cash. Sat opposite him, Chloe prepares to tell the senior detective the truth. Will she give up the rest of her life and risk prison for killing her own father?

Bella discovers the truth about Matthew’s death

Bella has been left confused after Nikau tells her they can’t see each other for a while following Ari’s arrest. She speaks with Dean and they realise the family are shutting down those on the outside, much like they did when Colby was on the verge of going to prison. She realises she has to respect Nikau’s decision, but later on she finds Chloe sobbing on the beach and rushes to comfort her. She takes her back to the Pier Apartment, and tries to figure out why she is so upset, but then it hits her – Chloe was the one who killed Matthew.

Roo refuses to accept Martha’s decision

Martha has left everyone stunned after making a last-minute decision not to go ahead with the kidney transplant, and Roo is struggling to understand why her mother is apparently choosing to die. However, Martha insists it would be wrong to endanger her daughter’s life just to save her own, and says that even if the operation goes smoothly, Roo could encounter health issues in the future. Roo refuses to accept this, however, and cuts Martha out of her life for good…

Justin and Roo discover Ryder unconscious underground

Justin and Roo are concerned when Ryder and Theo haven’t showed up at home after a night away, and they are soon terrified after seeing the pair’s prank video channel. Realising they have taken their challenges too far, they rush to the spot where the ‘buried alive’ prank took place as Roo recognises it. They encounter Theo first, who insists they have to save Ryder first. After a frantic scrabble to get the coffin out, Roo and Justin see Ryder unconscious in the wooden box…

Alf unleashes his wrath on Theo as Ryder is treated in hospital

Ryder is rushed to hospital and the ER team is immediately surrounding him, trying to get him breathing again. Alf emerges from Martha’s room and is furious with Theo, refusing to accept his repeated apologies. He is convinced that Theo manipulated Ryder into the challenge, especially as Theo only has an injured ankle and Ryder may not pull through. Justin defends Theo, saying that the videos make it clear Ryder participated of his own free will, but there is no stopping Alf and he doesn’t hesitate to give Theo a grave warning…

Logan gets a blast for the past when Neve shows up

Logan has reached a good place in his relationship with Mackenzie when he gets a mysterious text which sends him immediately out of Salt. As he walks away from the Surf Club, he hears a voice from behind the trees and is stunned to see his old flame Neve after years of no contact. She reveals that she had to lie low after absconding from the army, but now she’s back to make up for lost time. Unfortunately, as the pair kiss on the Pier, Ziggy walks past at just the wrong moment…
