Tesco’s food range includes an impressive line-up this year with a selection of festive cake, party nibbles and even Christmas themed crisps. With our celebrations being smaller this year, the supermarket giant’s food line is sure to help you still enjoy the day. Customers can explore the range now, with some items available in-store and some launching within the weeks closer to Christmas.
This year, Tesco has catered for everyone, with meat centrepieces, plant-based dinners as well as twists on the nation’s favourite trimmings and traditional puddings.
The classic Tesco Finest British Free Range Heritage Narragansett Whole Turkey is available from December 14 with sizes varying between 5.26kg and 6.51kg.
A Tesco Finest Easy Carve Duck with a Maple & Orange Glaze is also on the menu this year.
What’s more is their turkey and duck are also gluten free.
Available in-store and online now, customers can choose from the Christmas classic including a lamb leg and gammon joint.
All of their festive mains have a Christmassy flavour theme this year – maple and orange.
Tesco Executive Chef, Jamie Robinson explains: “This year, we selected maple and orange as our signature flavour combination as it oozes decadence and festivity.
“Its sweet and citrus elements add a new complexity of flavour to traditional favourites and is such a versatile pairing.

There are also giant pigs in blankets for £2 and each pork sausage has been seasoned with pepper before behind hand wrapped in streaky bacon rashers.
These Christmas classics launch on November 23 so shoppers still have a while before they can get their hands on them.
If you’re a fan of sausage rolls, the supermarket has created a sausage roll log, fit for 10 people to tuck into.
The seasoned pork meat is wrapped in puff pastry and topped with festive pastry leaves. It’s on sale for just £5 and is even tastier accompanied by cranberry sauce.

“What’s more, our amazing new plant-based foods are delicious enough for meat eaters too, so hosts can relax knowing that there are plenty of options for everyone to enjoy together.”
The supermarket also has plenty of delicious puddings to go round the table.
The Tesco Finest Chocolate Orange & Maple Bauble Cake costs £13 and consists of two layers of orange sponge, a layer of chocolate and orange brownie sandwiched together with a Belgian chocolate and orange buttercream, hand-finished with a white chocolate bauble decoration and maple flavoured buttercream.
The supermarket says it should serve 14 people, which is ideal for big families and is available in stores from November 23.
If you enjoy an after-dinner drink, Tesco has launched a gingerbread latte Irish cream liqueur which can be served over ice or added to a hot chocolate or coffee.
Alongside the traditional Christmas puddings, Tesco has launched a new one for 2020 including a ginger spiced chai-tea soaked cake.
