Here’s How To Find McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes Near You For A Minty Sip

In case you don’t obsessively keep up with fast food news, you should know the bright green McDonald’s Shamrock Shake has been back for a while. The seasonal sip is only around for about a month before it starts disappearing from restaurants, so you may want to grab one (or three) before they vanish. If you have yet to get your hands on the sip, here’s how to find McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes near you for a minty treat.

If you’ve got the McDonald’s app, navigate to the "Order" button on the bottom menu bar and enter in the details of your location with a city or zip code. Then, scroll down to "Sweets & Treats." The first option on the menu is the “Shakes” tab. From there, you’ll see the shakes available at that McDonald’s location. Most locations should have the classic McDonald’s shakes — Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry — but the Shamrock Shake should pop up near the top if your location is participating. If you feel so inclined, you can order the Shamrock Shake straight from the app and pick it up from the selected McDonald’s. You can also use the same method to order a Shamrock Shake in your Uber Eats or DoorDash app, looking for the Shamrock Shake under “Sweets & Treats.”

If you’ve never had a Shamrock Shake, get ready for a combination of vanilla ice cream and the minty goodness of Shamrock Shake syrup, and topped with whipped cream. The Shamrock Shake isn’t the only treat to be excited about at McDonald’s in March. The chain also brought back its Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which is exactly what it sounds like: an Oreo McFlurry mixed with minty Shamrock syrup. It’ll definitely give you some Thin Mint vibes.

McDonald’s brought back the fan-favorite shake to locations nationwide on Feb. 15, 2021, but the Shamrock Shake will start leaving stores in the second half of March. That means you’ll want to get one ASAP because they’ll likely start disappearing after St. Patrick’s Day on Wednesday, March 17. If you haven’t gotten your Shamrock Shake fix yet, it’s probably best to head to the Golden Arches before they’re gone.
