A TASTE of warm weather has us running to our gardens to soak up that sunshine, but what if we told you that you could actually earn money while topping up your tan?
Sunbathing definitely makes for easy work and now one website is offering sun-lovers the chance to make a buck or two while kicking back on a lounger and catching some rays.
No, we're not kidding. Whatshed.co.uk – a site dedicated to all things gardening -is advertising for people to join its very own "Parasol Patrol" where they're required to review garden furniture, like umbrellas and sun loungers, for £200 a week.
The main objective for those involved is to determine the comfort, style and practicality of each product or piece of garden furniture up for review – sounds like a dream job, right?
The site is looking for five people to become their in-house reviewers and products will be sent to each individual's home for a month in return.
Successful applicants are only required to work five hours a week and they'll be paid £40 an hour – meaning they'll be bringing in the cash all while soaking up the sun.
The only thing the site requests is that every individual priorities their safety and slathers on factor 50 sunscreen while working – and it must be reapplied every two hours.
They're also willing to cover any expenses for all those "sunbathing essentials" like sunscreen, food and beverages to ensure each individual is as "comfortable" as they can be.
What are the requirements for the job, you ask? No qualifications are needed and all applicants must be over 18 and have access to an outdoor space with "good sun exposure".
A spokesperson for Whatshed.co.uk has said of the role: "We are always looking to improve our products and have a few exciting things in the pipeline, so we thought why not take advantage of the upcoming heat wave and put our products to the ultimate test.
“In my opinion, there is nothing better than relaxing in the sun, so we’re expecting a lot of people to apply to be a part of our Parasol Patrol team. If you think you could be a great judge on what makes the best garden products and fancy soaking up the sun, please get in touch!”
Applications must be sent in by 11 June – for more info visit here.
