WHEN the sun is beaming in all its glory, the garden is the perfect place to host family and friends.

But if you're looking for that little something to help give your outdoor haven a quick and easy glow up without breaking the bank, then look no further.

That's because one savvy shopper has told how she popped into to B&M and nabbed the perfect bargain buy for her garden – and it only cost her £1.

Taking to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she shared a snap of the 'Solar Powered Slim Bulb String Lights' that she managed to get her hands on in the store's mega sale.

But rather than pay the £15 price tag, she got hold of them for just £1 – meaning a whopping £14 saving.

Alongside the image, she penned: "Wanted festoon lights that are mains powered for a while but the cost and getting a plug installed outside was just too much at the moment.
