Royal Family news – Prince Harry and William to hold CRUNCH secret head-to-head meeting to sort feud once and for all

PRINCES Harry and William will NEVER heal their rift all the time Meghan Markle is in the frame, a royal expert has claimed.

The feuding brothers are said to have been "at each others throats" behind the scenes at Prince Philip's funeral, having barely spoke to one another since Harry and Meghan fled to the US to live a supposedly "private" life.

Now royal expert Hugo Vickers has said their is no chance of the brothers ending the feud while Meghan is around because her husband is simply too "under the thumb" to realise the damage he's done to his brother.

'I don't know what they can do under the present circumstances… Harry has got to wake up to what's going on. It's a very unpleasant situation," he told The Express.

'Harry is so under the thumb of Meghan it is not really possible until he emerges from that," he added, hinting that ending his relationship with the Duchess might be the only way to fix relations with his brother.

HARRY'S MEMORIES OF DIANA'S LAST FEW YEARS ARE 'A WOMAN AT WAR WITH THE ROYALS'

Speaking of Prince Harry stepping away from his senior royal duties and starting a new life in California with wife Meghan Markle, royal expert Duncan Lancombe said: “It doesn’t surprise me at all that Harry is where Harry is at now.

“Now that he’s married and a father himself, which is a significant moment in his life, those precious memories of her in her last few years of her life are memories of a woman at war with the royals.

“They were memories of a woman who felt everyone had an opinion on her and she wasn’t allowed her own.

    “Harry remembers that vividly.”

PRINCE HARRY FELT SILENCED BY CHARLES OVER DIANA INQUEST – LEAVING HIM LIKE A ‘VOLCANO READY TO ERUPT’, EXPERT SAYS

PRINCE Harry was a “volcano ready to erupt” after feeling silenced by his dad Prince Charles over Princess Diana inquest, claims an expert.

In 2008, an inquest into Diana’s death concluded that she and partner Dodi Fayed had been unlawfully killed as a result of the "gross negligence" of Mercedes driver Henri Paul and the paparazzi.

In the run up to what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday on July 1, royal expert Duncan Larcombe told The Sun how Diana’s death in 1997 had affected youngest son Prince Harry.

The royal commentator said: “It hurt him. It hurt him badly. He was damaged by her death. A 12-year-old’s mother dies, a 12-year-old suffers obviously.

“But then to have 11 years, over a decade, of his mother’s death being the stuff of open discussions and theories and ‘this is what happened.’ From Prince Harry’s point of view, he was like a volcano waiting to erupt.”

MEG AND HARRY COULD BE OFF THE BALCONY AS CHARLES FAVOURS A SLIMMED DOWN MONARCH

During Harry and Meghan’s trip to the UK for next years Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, it is not yet known whether the pair will be present on the Balcony of Buck Palace.

Following the choice of taking a step back from Royal duties and leaving the firm, it is likely that they will not be welcomed on the balcony.

An insider told the Mail: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited and I’m sure the Queen is very much looking forward to seeing them there.

“The balcony moment will be decided much nearer the time but there’s a limit to how many family members should be on it, and I would have thought that working Royals who contribute to the family would be higher on the list than the Sussexes.”

    DIANA CHANGED OUR LIVES

Diana worked with dozens of charities including The National Aids Trust, Meningitis Now and Children’s Cancer UK as well as hospitals such as London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Sophia, a mum of three and medical tattooist, from Guildford, Surrey, met Diana after having both legs amputated following a battle with meningitis.

Sophia says: “I was just 16 when I fell ill with meningitis and nearly died. I survived but after eight days in an induced coma I was transferred to Queen Mary’s Hospital, London, where surgeons amputated both legs and some fingers.

“I was giving up the will to live… As an incentive, a nurse said a special guest was coming to open the brand new rehabilitation centre… I wasn’t interested at first but then she told me it was Princess Diana.”

DESIGN OF DIANA STATUS HAS BEEN KEPT A CLOSELY GUARDED SECRET

The design of the Diana statue, which was installed in the palace’s Sunken Gardens last week, has been kept a closely guarded secret.

Sources have told The Telegraph it will depict a “youthful” Diana.

The Princess Of Wales was 36 when she died in a car crash in Paris in August, 1997.

Diana’s brother Earl Spencer and sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, are expected to attend Thursday’s unveiling, it’s reported.

But the Queen will not be among the handful of guests at the ceremony, and will instead be heading to Scotland. William and Harry have reportedly spent months working on the design and have even advised Rank-Broadley on the statue’s nose.

A source told The Telegraph: “It is not in any way austere or imperious.

The car, with 83,000 miles on the clock, has its original registration WEV 297W, silver paint, blue velour upholstery and even the radio.

Diana was regularly photographed driving it and sat in it to watch Charles play polo.

She said: “People asked me why I had it and I’d tell them it was my first car I passed my test in.”

DIANA'S VOICE COACH THAT TURNED HER INTO A CONFIDENT SPEAKER

In November 1955, Stewart Pearce, was asked to meet a young lady who was in need of voice training classes.

Not long after her panorama interview was aired, despite feeling liberated, Diana did not like the way she came across and so was in search of a voice specialist.

By the time Diana sadly passed away, Stewart said he had helped Diana with her transformation into an assertive and confident speaker.

"She had found a way of balancing her private and public self so that there was no change between the two. She could stand on a platform and feel relaxed and confident about whatever it as she needed to say." Stewart said.

A former actor, turned voice coach and drama teacher, and a former Master of Voice at London’s Globe Theatre, Stewart, now 69, has just published a book, Diana the Voice of Change – something he describes as a "call to arms for women’".

    THE LEGACY VARIES

Both Prince William and Prince Harry have continued Diana's legacy in different ways.

Diana, the peoples princes, was the first of the Royal family to have physical contact with someone suffering from AIDS, during a time when there was fear that the disease could be spread from human contact.

Diana also did work for numerous charities and spoke up against the use of land mines after walking through an Angolan mine field.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Angela Levin said: "Now they are focusing on the memories of her and her beliefs that seem to support their own separate world views."

She added: "Much of Harry and Meghan’s charitable work goes through their Archewell Foundation, which has a commercial slant that seems to break Her Majesty’s rules for senior royals. It would be unthinkable to imagine William behaving that way.

"Is Harry’s determination to do things how he pleases a sign that he wants to follow in his mother’s footsteps as a rebellious royal?"

It can be hard to pick the perfect present for a loved one, but Princess Diana is said to have completely missed the mark with Prince Charles one year.
