My wife is so ashamed of her ‘small’ three-carat engagement ring she wears a rubber band instead

A MAN has claimed that his wife was so ashamed of her "small" three carat-engagement ring that she swapped it for a rubber band instead.

In a clip which has been viewed over 15.8million times on TikTok, the man, named Arash, shared a video of his fiancé on her phone.

However, rather than wearing a dazzling diamond ring on her finger, she instead wears a silicone rubber band – with some suggesting it may just be for safety reasons.

Alongside the video, Arash writes: "My Persian wife is "ashamed of her "small" 3 carat diamond ring so she wears this rubber thing instead."

In a second clip, his wife can be seen jokingly "reasoning why her big a** diamond ring is not big enough."

Miming to a background narration, she says: "Somebody tried to set me up with their cousin and obviously they didn't see my ring…so it's not big enough.

If it were bigger, they would've seen it."
