Posting on Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page, one woman asked fellow cleaning fans for advice on how to get mascara out of a pale carpet.
The post received loads of tips from users, but the most popular one was using micellar water to remove the stain.
People claimed micellar water helped break down the oils in the makeup product, making it easy to remove the stubborn stain.
