Meghan Markle's Instagram account 'reactivated' months after she closed it down… then mysteriously disappears again

But after her romance with her now-husband went public, the 37-year-old actress shut down her accounts, leading to claims she was "muted" by the Royal Family.

Currently Princess Eugenie is the only member of the Firm who has a social media account which isn't controlled by Kensington Palace.

But earlier today, Meghan fans couldn't believe it when the Duchess of Sussex appeared to have reactivated her Instagram.

Her bio read: "UN. World Vision. One Young World. Suits. The Tig" and her profile photo was a glamorous bedroom shot clearly taken before she married Prince Harry.

But soon after eagle-eyed fans spotted she was back online, her page mysteriously disappeared again.

The link to her account now brings up an error message which reads: "Sorry, this page isn't available.

"The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed."

Its reappearance online is believed to have been down to a technical glitch which has since been resolved.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.

Earlier today we revealed Meghan is in "crisis talks" with Palace aides after her dad Thomas Markle dragged the Queen into their family feud.

Meanwhile Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles praised the Duchess of Sussex despite claims she has become known as "Duchess Difficult" for her "dictatorial" behaviour.
