MEGHAN Markle guided Prince Harry on his "journey to wokeness" after he witnessed her facing racism.

The former actresses experiences would have been the "first time" Prince Harry would have seen someone he was close to affected by racist remarks, Finding Freedom biographer Omid Scobie has revealed.

This comes as the Duke insisted it will take "every single person on the planet" to defeat racism.

In a new virtual interview for a civil rights organisation, the Duke of Sussex made it clear that tackling racism is "not down to the black community."

    An unnamed source said the new LA residents enjoyed a quiet day with Archie before handing him over to Doria for an intimate evening.

    “They spent the day as a family and in the evening, Doria looked after Archie so that Meghan and Harry could enjoy some couple time,” the source said.

    “Harry cooked Meghan a three-course dinner, but Doria helped him with the preparation.

    “While Harry has become a better cook since marrying Meghan, he still has a way to go!”

    Meghan worked as a ‘briefcase girl’ on the show, hosted by Howie Mandel, between 2006 and 2007.

    He added: “As we've discussed before, it is going to take every single one of us, this is not just down to the black community, it's going to take every single person on the planet right now.”

    One of the authors of Finding Freedom, Omid Scobie says that Meghan helped Harry to become more “woke.”

    Speaking on the US station, National Public Radio, Scobie said: “Harry's journey to wokeness has been very public.

    “We've seen him learning and educating himself along the way, but this experience of witnessing Meghan face racist remarks and commentary would have been the first time he'd seen someone in his life or someone he was particularly close to affected by it in a certain way.”

    He added: “And I think there are things like that which Harry's really had to become more attuned to and learn to see when it happens in front of him. And Meghan would have been the person that guided him on that journey.”

    “Meghan’s scar is 100% due to open bunion surgery,” Consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon for BMI Shirley Oaks hospital, Kumar Kunasingam, claims.

    “While the scar is only 4-5cm long, this type of surgery can be very painful and it can take up to three months before patients can wear heels again.”

    Meghan's team leaked details of the High Court privacy row to Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, bombshell documents claimed today.

    The Duchess of Sussex is suing Associated Newspapers (ANL), the publisher of the Mail on Sunday, after a “private” letter she sent to her estranged father Thomas Markle, 76, was revealed.

    The 39-year-old claims publishing the letter was an “invasion of her privacy” but ANL says its existence was already in the public domain after being discussed in an anonymous interview given by five of her pals to People Magazine.

    Mr Justice Warby today ruled the identities of Meghan’s friends must remain confidential “in the interests of justice” – saying the decision had been made “for the time being”.

    However, in a judgment released, he said there was evidence that Meghan's side had “briefed the press” about the initial application to stop her friends from being publicly named during the High Court case.

    Mr Justice Warby said reporter Mr Scobie – who is set to release a biography about the couple next week – tweeted about the application just 58 minutes after they were filed.

    Meghan's discussion with Emily Ramshaw – who founded nonprofit positive news outlet The 19th* – will close the virtual summit on Friday 14 August.

    Confirming her involvement in the summit, Meghan told Glamour: “The 19th*'s commitment to reporting and storytelling that lifts up those who are too often underrepresented in the media has never been more important.
