Kerry King reveals what the Universe has in store for you this week… according to Tarot

EVERY Sunday, our resident Tarotscope reader Kerry King will be revealing what surprises, challenges and excitement awaits you in the week ahead.

Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.

Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.

Here's her predictions for YOUR star sign…

Aries – (Six of Wands, Queen of Coins, Three of Wands)

You love helping other people, it’s a default setting with you, and you don’t begrudge investing your time and energy with those you love and like.

The Three of Wands shows up this week to remind you that it goes both ways. You CAN, and should, ask for help sometimes, you know.

No one would refuse you, and you’ve got plenty of “credit” in the bank with family and friends. The Queen of Coins shows this is about a practical matter, something material- maybe your home, car, work or possessions.

The Six of Wands reveals, if you get the help or advice you need, then your endeavour will be a great success. You can’t do it all by yourself, and you shouldn’t feel like you have to. Let others in, and revel in the goodwill people genuinely feel towards you and your success in this life.

Your popularity is more of a pull than you think!

Taurus – (Five of Coins, Three of Cups, Two of Swords)

You’re at a cross roads in life, as shown by the tough Two of Swords. This isn’t really a place you wanted to reach, but here you are. There’s no denying that a decision must be made, and you need to take ownership of that.

There will be loss, inevitably, as a result of this choice. The Five of Coins is a reminder than, when we move forwards, we usually leave something / place / one behind… that’s life, sad though it is.

However, there is also an equal amount of new news and opportunity to be gained, as shown by the fun and loving Three of Cups.

Your relationships are particularly impacted here, and should be the guiding light behind and ahead of this decision.

What do you need in love? Who do you love? What relationships need to fade away and what comes to the fore? Are you looking for new connections? Think about your network as you navigate making your choice, think about what stays and what goes, and act accordingly.

This cross roads is important, challenging and urgent. And, once you’ve crossed it, you will feel 100% better about everything, so don’t hesitate…

Gemini – (Page of Cups, Ten of Wands, The Empress)

You’re a creative spirit, Gemini, and you need to feel stimulated and activated by your work. The Ten of Wands hints at a busy week of business and pressure, there’s a LOT going on, and that’s all good.

However, if you don’t trim it down just a BIT you’re in danger of finding it all to be too much drudgery. When you get bored / frustrated, it can lead to you sabotaging your own best efforts.

The trick, as shown by The Empress and the Page of Cups, is to inject a sense of imagination, creativity and play into every task you undertake.

See the “game” within the task. See the puzzle to be worked out. See the chance to reward yourself with every challenge completed.

Make this period of hard graft more FUN, and you will not only smash your own targets, but have a blast doing so. Take this attitude to work and reap the benefits.

Cancer – (Nine of Coins, King of Swords, Queen of Swords)

You’re thinking about your long-term future and where / how that unfolds this week, as shown by the Nine of Coins. This card is about steady progress in the right direction, making investments and sacrifices NOW which lead to greater security or comfort later. Planning and strategy are required.

Nothing is gained without design. The King and Queen of Swords are intellectual, rational and forward-thinking characters and walk with you, this week, to help you adopt that mindset towards your own future.

Where do you want to live, and how? What people or things are important in your life, and you’d like to invest more in?

What needs to go? Consider what baby steps you can make, each day in the present, to head towards this future vision of your life.

It’s possible and doable, and the only person who can make your dreams a reality is YOU.

Believe in your ambitions and set to making them come true. Little by little, you can go a long way…

Leo – (The Hanged Man, The Hermit, Ten of Cups)

If you’re serious with yourself, like The Hermit is asking you to be, you know that there’s something you need to sit quietly and think about, alone and without other’s input or “backing” (you know, what you seek when you kinda’ think you MIGHT be in the wrong…)

It’s to do with your closest relationships. The Ten of Cups shows that a total renewal, rekindling and rejuvenation of your bonds is possible this week, with a little bit of considered action.

The Hanged Man reveals you feel like things have hit an impasse, a dead end, a plateau… which you hate because forward momentum is where it’s at for your action-packed sign.

Take yourself off-grid and think things through. What has happened recently, what have the consequences been, what might unfold if things are left “as is”, what kind of intervention (for the better) could you make.

Maybe even (BRACE YOURSELF) an apology? Shock, horror, surely not! Maybe.

Virgo – (Knight of Coins, Four of Coins, Three of Coins)

A full house of Coins cards this week, Virgo, so you’re all about your material world- money, wealth, security, possessions, home, work. And, as a practical Earth sign, this is you in your element!

The Knight suggests you might have some tweaks or improvements to your personal security to make- maybe fixing a fence, sorting a pension, changing a savings account, updating Linkedin.

The Four asks you to get out of any and all ruts you may have fallen into- perhaps it’s time to switch energy suppliers, or renew your insurances, or update your CV and think about the next step in your career.

And the Three reminds you how adept you are at all this sort of stuff and, actually, others would really benefit from your advice.

Look around, as you make your own personal improvements, as to who could do with some similar help, or who might benefit from the recent discoveries you’ve made.

Share the learnings, and maybe you’ll hear something equally useful back.

Libra – (Nine of Cups, The Sun, Six of Coins)

A wonderful trio of happy cards this week, Libra, so look forward to a blessed seven days ahead!

The Nine of Cups and The Sun show that a wish-come-true is brewing, something you are inspired by and will bring much joy and prosperity into your life. Step forwards with confidence and go for the things you desire most… the Universe is ready to grant you a wish.

The Six of Coins asks you to spread the love, share the happiness, do good for others along the way.

Getting into the “good karma” cycle is a wonderful way to live. Releasing our energy and resources freely in order to help others, then letting the Universe take that and transform it into something else, to return to us as “good karma” at a later date.

Every favour and kind deed you perform this week will be repaid tenfold down the line, so sow some happy seeds for later, you won’t regret it…

Scorpio – (The Hanged Man, Ten of Cups, The Hermit)

You’ve been frustrated recently by the lack of progress or change in a relationship you value highly. The Hanged Man is the tarot’s “limbo” card, and suggests you feel your sacrifices and investments have not been repaid as you hoped (or were promised…)

Scorpio, let it go. Don’t get into this damaging “tit for tat” mentality, it only leads to more pain.

The Ten of Cups shows that this relationship can come good once more, and has the potential to be a lasting and fulfilling one in your life. What to do about it then?

The Hermit asks you to retreat a while and ponder on your chemistry and connection. What makes this partnership work, and what threatens it? When are you at your best, and worst? What role do you play here?

How can you personally change in order to change the dynamic and restore a forward momentum?

Consider carefully, make a plan, and take the first step before these seven days are up. You’ll see the difference almost immediately.

Sagittarius – (Six of Wands, Queen of Coins, Ace of Coins)

Victory is yours for the taking! The Six of Wands is a wonderfully positive card, lending you its winning chemistry in any area of life you choose to play it. So, where do you most need to “win”?..

The Ace and Queen of Coins propose it’s somewhere practical and material- work, finances, house, possessions, contracts and legalities.

Also, that it’s something which has a long-term aspect to it, this  is no quick-win or fast fix, this is a lasting resolution to a long-standing issue. It benefits you enormously and makes your life better.

What you choose to win at today can have lasting ramifications for the future, so choose wisely.

Make it something that will improve your circumstances for the long run, and that has a tangible impact on your material world.

Get to it- this is very powerful energy and you mustn’t waste it!

Capricorn – (Three of Wands, Justice, The Wheel of Fortune)

The Wheel of Fortune is a powerful card about change and transformation. It reminds us that

NOTHING in life stays the same and, sometimes, it’s wisest to get ahead of the curve and push that wheel ourselves. Be “the doer” not the “done to”. Pick a pivot point and push, and watch the chain reaction roll out across your life.

Justice asks you to play fair, to play nice, to not use this power to hurt or sabotage anyone else (AS IF you would…). Look after your own side of the street, and let karma take care of the rest.

The Three of Wands hints that the most significant change you make could be connected to your interaction with others. A team effort, a group project, a collaboration, a shared ambition or vision.

Think about where you have shared goals, and what you could do, this very week, to make progress on them. Push that wheel…

Aquarius – (King of Swords, Knight of Wands, The Hierophant)

A real sense of purpose and focus visits you this week, with the strong and powerful King of Swords and Knight of Wands. It could be that actual male figures in your life (an Air sign and a Fire sign) have wisdom and help to offer you, which is valuable.

It could be that you’re taking on their traits yourself and seeing the need to make long-term plans, using your head AND your heart, to satisfy both your emotional and intellectual aspirations.

All sounds very highbrow doesn’t it… really, it just means it’s a good week to clarify and plot your long-term goals!

The other key here is The Hierophant. This is card of wisdom, of faith and tradition. It asks you to consider what you most believe in, where does your faith lie, and to act accordingly in line with upholding that.

Maybe you need to break free of some old bonds or constraints, which you no longer believe in. Maybe you need to do more physically to invest in, and protect, the things or people you believe in.

A thoughtful week, with real potential to create life-changing plans, lies ahead.

Pisces – (Ten of Coins, King of Cups, Three of Swords)

You invest enormously in your relationships with others and this week it’s all about your closest relationships, as shown by the happy-ever-after Ten of Coins and the loving King of Cups.

A chance to make some changes which create a happier, blissful, secure “nest” in your life can be realised this week, but it requires some bravery because you need to deal with the “yukky bits” that threaten to undermine your relationship’s stability longer term.

The Three of Swords shows you have wounded each other along the way (don’t we all…) and both of you bear scars, and nurse your various emotional scratches and bruises even now.

Some emotions have long echoes- like guilt, shame, anger or grief. Well, it’s time to identify, call out and surgically remove these echoing feelings, once and for all.

They are linked to events long past, and they serve no purpose now other than to make you feel insecure or irritated.

Join forces to talk through your wounds, process them, and agree to file them away finally. Start with a clean slate. The future is bright!
