Kate Middleton stood out from her spot in the crowd today, as she took her seat for the Coronation Concert.

The long awaited mega event, held on the grounds of Windsor Castle, sees the senior royals come together in celebration of King Charles’ coronation yesterday.

The 41-year-old opted for a jewel toned red two piece Alexander McQueen suit, which she paired with statement jewllery.

Her striking necklace is the Van Cleef Magic Alhambra six motif necklace which costs an eye-watering £8,050.

Kate chose to wear her curled long locks down, a departure from the more formal up-do worn at the coronation yesterday.

Red, white and blue ‘fits have been the go-to over the past few days for the Duchess, and she once again stuck with the patriotic theme for this evening’s look.

Yesterday, Kate wowed royal and fashion fans with an Alexandra McQueen silk gown.

The ivory dress featured stunning embroidery at the bottom of the hem, which peeked through under her formal blue robe.

The Princess of Wales’ elegant crepe gown included silver bullion and thread work embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock motifs to represent each of the four nations.

When it came to her tiara, there were rumours that the Duchess would be going for a more natural look – and even a flower crown. In the end, she did indeed opt for a new custom made headpiece.

The eye-catching Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece featured silver bullion, crystal and silver thread work three-dimensional leaf embroidery.

Ever the glamorous mum, the Duchess is accompanied by her two eldest children this evening, George, nine and Charlotte, eight, as well as her husband, William.

Youngest son, Louis, five, will be missing out on the concert tonight, meaning fans won’t be treated to some of his iconic facial expressions.

The royals will be treated to quite the line-up, which includes global popstar Katy Perry, and legend Lionel Ritchie.

They are part of a mixed bag of performers celebrating the coronation in front of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests.

Millions are also expected to be watching and listening at home.
