Fact: Millennial pink isn’t just for millennials. Ask Julia Roberts — she just dyed her hair a pinky rose gold. The actress doesn’t typically dabble in unconventional hair colors, but here she is, debuting her unexpected look on Instagram:

Both Roberts and her longtime stylist Serge Normant posted videos for “faux boom Friday,” a game in which the actress posts fakes a hair-flip Boomerang. It’s delightful, but we really wouldn’t expect anything less from Roberts, whose been known as “America’s Sweetheart” throughout her career.

But, what’s more important is the loose fishtail braid that Roberts’s hair is styled in. Her color is blonde at the roots and gets more pink throughout her hair, which creates an ombré effect. The look is light enough for her blonde base to still show through, but the subtle hand-painted, tinges of pink still make an impact.
