JUST like a hot cuppa, or eggs, people take their toast VERY seriously, and how you prepare it depends on how you like to eat it – but is there a"right way"?
Reigniting the age old argument,The Body Coach,Joe Wicks, shared a graphic on his Instagram yesterday, prompting his followers to reveal what they consider the perfect toast colour.
The image depicts 16 slices of toasted bread which have been cooked for different lengths of time, therefore, donning varying degrees of "toasty-ness".
Number 16 is only very slightly toasted, therefore relatively light in colour, while the first is essentially burnt to a crisp.
Spilling the beans on how he enjoys his breakfast, the nations popular PE teacher, who reportedly made more than £9million in a week thanks to his fitness app, wrote: "Let's settle this great debate. I'm a 14 all day long kinda guy. You?"
The post has so far attracted almost 15k comments with his fans all sharing their ideal "number".
"This might cause controversy but I'm 16," one of Joe's followers wrote.
To which Joe replied: "Emily we need to talk."
Another follower wrote: "15 but left in the toaster to go cold (but still have crunch)".
The post proves that toast is very serious business, as one quipped back: "What is wrong with you?"
Many suggested that number 11 was the ideal colour for toast, while others insisted none were suitable at all, instead coming up with their own.
One wrote: "As a maths teacher, can I pick 13.5?"
This comes as Joe announced he will be hosting PE lessons once more to keep kids active during the current lockdown.
During the first national lockdown in March, the PE teacher became a national hero with his virtual exercise classes which were a hit with parents and kids cooped up in the house all day.
In a video message to his Twitter followers, the celeb fitness instructor, 34, said he is rebooting his YouTube videos for the new school shutdown.
The 20-minute classes will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9am, staring 11th Jan.
