AN INTERIOR designer has taken to TikTok to share the six things that make your home look cheap.
Krish, known online as @interiorbykrish, regularly shares home design tips with his 101,000 followers.
In a new video, he lists some of the interior design choices he believes can make your home look cheap.
This includes patterned carpet, bright coloured walls and placing your bed in the corner of your bedroom.
He said: “Things that make your house look CHEAP.

His opinions attracted plenty of attention online, with the video gaining more than 178,000 likes and 4.6 million views.
Although not all agreed with his views, with one commenting: “There is nothing as 'cheap' till we all have a roof to protect us..Be thankful for the minimum things you have, some ain't that lucky enough!”

Another said: “The bed in the corner just looks more organised.”
A third added: “How about letting people design THEIR houses the way that THEY want to.”
Someone else put: “Aw come on, can we stop with the house shaming? We all end up in the same place, you can’t take it with you…”

He’s not the only one sharing interior design tips online – Chantelle took to TikTok to share home she transformed her entire kitchen for less than £50.
Thanks to some careful bargain hunting, she managed to get her tile stickers for £16, two blinds for £18, and some cheap vinyl to cover the work surfaces and back door.
Sharing some before and after photos, she said: “This is it currently, at the moment, which for under £50, I’m not going to complain.
“I’m extremely happy with [it]. I do want to change some of the vases to black, get a nice runner rug, and change the blinds, but yeah, I’m really happy.”
Fans loved the mum’s budget transformation, with the video gaining more than 7,300 likes and 147,000 views.
