A SAVVY shopper who prides themselves on bagging the best bargains in the supermarket has lifted the lid on their secrets.
Social media user @iizlama took to his TikTok profile to explain how they’d been gate keeping several items in the popular grocery store.
However, @iizlama said it was the right time to come clean and share the food and drink items with his fellow bargain hunters.
He then went on to go through his list of nine items one by one, as he told his 66.5k followers more about them and how much money they saved.
And there were plenty to capture people’s attention, as his hidden gem buys covered all departments from the bakery section to food dupes.
In a video on his visit to the store, @iizlama explained: “I’m back at Aldi.

“And I’m going to show you everything else I’ve been gate keeping.”
The first item then flashed up on the screen – different flavoured soda drinks that cost just 75p per bottle.
He continued: “If you like making mocktails, you need to grab these.
“75p. They have them in every flavour – orange, lime and grapefruit.”

Up next, @iizlama headed to the frozen section where he pointed out several tasty items, including soya and chilli and salt and pepper calamari.
While elsewhere in Aldi they have other treats, which have been compared to popular branded products.
He went on to point out the vegan coconut layered yoghurt, which is on offer for 89p.
He said: “This is an Alpro dupe.”
The social media user also sang the praises of the 79p vitamin water, as he said “it slaps”.
Other shoppers were also excited to hear that Aldi stock halal chicken.
While the bakery section boasts many tasty treats, including the primary school style cake that’s so popular it was completely sold out.
But they weren’t the only delicious snack on @iizlama’s ever-growing shopping list.
He also said fellow foodies should try the sea salt and lime tortilla chips, which he described as “so nice”.
While the final item on the agenda were Aldi’s Twister lolly dupes, which are called Whirlz and cost just over £1.
As the TikToker’s followers lapped up the shopping advice, they were quick to comment on the video.
