I was quoted a whopping £800 to transform my boring garden fence but did it myself for £16 | The Sun

FOLLOWING the harsh winter weather, chances are your garden fences are looking a little worse for wear.

But if you're looking to give your garden fence panels a total glow up, there's no need to spend a small fortune.

One man who was quoted a whopping £800 by a professional has told how he took matters into his own hands – and did it himself for just £16.99.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@thedesichef), he posted an impressive transformation video showing what the fence looked like before and after.

And it's fair to say the once dull-looking fence now looks completely unrecognisable.

"I got quoted £800 to paint the fence," he says.
