I tried on H&M's viral satin dress in all of the colours and there's one that everyone agrees looks cheap | The Sun

H&M’s dress game has been seriously elevated ahead of summer with many selling out in minutes after going viral on social media.

And the fashion brand’s new satin dress is no exception.

However, shoppers agree that there’s one colour of the viral short-sleeved summer frock that looks a lot cheaper than the rest.

The Tie-belt Satin Dress comes in black, light green, pink and powder pink and costs £34.99.

A blurb on the frock reads: “Ankle-length dress in softly draping satin.

“Round, gathered neckline with a V-shaped opening at the back that has narrow ties.

Fashion fans going crazy for ‘mystery’ H&M dress that’s impossible to find

“Wide, elbow-length sleeves in a raglan cut, a wide tie belt at the waist and a straight-cut hem.”

Content creator Say Emes tried on the black, light green and powder pink numbers and recorded the process.

She asked her viewers which colour she should keep.

And while people couldn’t decide the best colour to keep, they were quick to point out which frock she should send back because it looked cheaper than the rest.

Fashion fans agreed the light pink number looked “too cheap” compared to the elegant black and sage green frocks.

One fashion critic said: “Green and black look good.

“Pink looks a bit too cheap.”

A second penned: “Make sure you send the pink one back.”

A third echoed: “100% not the pink.”

Others weighed in that the powder pink hue washed out the fashionista’s complexion more than the black and green dresses.

The dress ranges from a size XS to XXL but has already sold out in a number of colours.

Say Emes’ TikTok has totted up almost two million views and over 1,500.

The fashionista agreed that she thought the powder pink dress looked cheaper.

Due to the lighter nature of the fabric, creases and fold marks are likely to show up a lot stronger on it.
