GIVING birth is a trying time for any mum as you get used to your new routine with a newborn.

But one mum was left stunned when she returned from the hospital with her new baby – only to discover she was pregnant again.


Loren Ahinnawai shared her experience on her TikTok account and revealed people always say the same thing to her for having two kids under one.

The mum gave birth to her son, Massimo, on November 27, 2020, and then welcomed her little girl Camila on October 26, 2021 – making them 'Irish twins.'

In another video that went viral with over 300k views, the mum said: "Our baby boy, born November 27th, 2020 – left the hospital ready to take on parenting life."

But she revealed that just as they had things figured out she found out she was pregnant again.

She continued: "Boom! Irish twins.

"Our baby girl born October 26th 2021."

The term “Irish twins” refers to one mother having two children who were born 12 months or less apart, reveals healthline.

"The best thing god ever blessed me with," Loren captioned the post.

The mum of two also shared that people often say the same things to her when out in public with her two tots under one.

In another clip, she said: "Things people have said to us when we tell them we have two under one."

"WOW, you guys didn't waste any time," is one comment the pair have received.

She added people also remark: "I don't know how you do it," as well as "Oh god, you must have your and full."

While others often share their own stories of Irish twins – "Oh Irish twins! My mum's aunt's cousin had Irish twins."

"We’ve heard it all," they captioned the post.

One wrote: "Congratulations Beautiful Family."
