Husband turns poky bedroom into stunning walk-in wardrobe for his wife with wallpaper from the Range & an Ikea mirror

A WOMAN has revealed how her husband has made her a dressing room of dreams for her Christmas present.

Jayne Tapper, 48, a nurse from Newton Abbot, Devon, shared stunning photos showing before and after the home transformation.

Before it was turned into a room fit for a princess, Jayne revealed it had been a spare room used for ironing and dumping items that didn’t have a home.

The mum-of-three’s new space, courtesy of engineer partner Paul, includes a beautiful shoe cabinet with lights on her designer pairs.

There is also a gorgeous dressing table with lights around the outside and a velvet seat to perch on while doing her make-up.

The room decoration has also gone from plain to beautiful, with plum-coloured velvet curtains and floral wallpaper.

Jayne wrote on the DIY on a Budget group: “My husband Christmas present to me. My very own dressing room . . I love it.

“He’s worked so hard and done an amazing job transforming this little room into a beautiful room for me.”

She revealed that the renovation hadn’t cost a fortune, with prints and curtains coming from eBay and her lights coming from Ikea.

Meanwhile, the floral wallpaper was revealed to have come from The Range and cost £11.99 a roll.

Previously, Paul had also made a pub in their back garden so she would spend more time with him at home.

Social media users were full of praise for the jaw-dropping walk-in wardrobe area.

One said: “What a guy! It looks lovely.”
