The rock star dating the model may seem like a cliché, but the romance between Sam Margin (30-year-old frontman for the Rubens) and 27-year-old Rosie Tupper isn't one you'll find in the gossip pages. Instead, they favour cooking together and, following the arrival in August of their baby girl Mozes, affectionately known as Mo, spending time as a family.

Sam and Rosie formed an instant connection when they first met at a gig in New York four years ago. Then, in November 2016, Sam surprised Rosie by popping the question over breakfast in Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden. The good-looking duo were married earlier this year in Sam's home town of Camden, NSW.
Mo's recent arrival marks the pinnacle of a run of good fortune for both Sam and Rosie. In 2016, the Rubens' infectious track, Hoops , was voted no. 1 in Triple J's Hottest 100. More recently, they've played all over Australia supporting superstar Pink on her Beautiful Trauma tour.
Meanwhile, Rosie, who first started modelling when she was 15, has worked extensively with skincare powerhouse Clarins and Australian retailer Marcs. Her most recent campaign, alongside Sam, has been with homewares giant Sheridan
As an eventful year comes to an end for the growing family, we spend precious time with Rosie, Sam and Mo, and feel the true spirit of Christmas: life, love and family.
ROSIE'S FESTIVE SPIRIT
What is your favourite childhood Christmas memory?
Every year, Mum would wake us by putting on Santa Claus Is Coming to Town and turning it up really loud in the house.
If you could spend Christmas with anyone in the world, who would that be?
Definitely no one famous. Honestly, just our families.
If you could do it, what would be your Christmas miracle?
Mo trying her first mince pie, and actually liking it.
What do you hope is in your Christmas stocking?
Snickers, nougat Christmas pudding, socks, mince pies, candles, bathers, bath salts, cashews and PJs.
How will you be celebrating Mo's first Christmas ?
By spoiling her rotten – and having a day at the beach. It's great because at this age we can all go crazy and buy her a million gifts without her ever remembering it.
Has becoming a mum changed how you feel about Christmas?
The festive season is all about kids, I think. This is the first grandchild on both sides of our family, so all the aunties, uncles and grandparents are excited to finally have a baby in the family to share Christmas with. It hasn't necessarily changed how we feel about Christmas, but it's reminded us what it's all about.
