People are blaming Instagram sensation Mrs Hinch because a popular cleaning product has run out in stores across the UK.
Essex hairdresser Sophie Hinchliffe, 28, has over a million followers on her "cleaning mad" account where she posts snaps of her immaculate home, how-to videos and favourite products.
She often praises scented disinfectant Zoflora, which costs around £1, that the Instagram star uses to clean sinks, floors, bins, among other things.
Now shoppers are complaining that stocks of Zoflora are running low – and they reckon Mrs Hinch is to blame as people are trying to emulate her spotless home.
One person tweeted about a conversation they overhead while out shopping: "Some woman in savers was complaining her favourite zoflora isn’t there
"The woman behind the till said ‘it’s that lassie’s fault off the internet with her videos she’s sending everyone cleaning daft".
Another tweeted: "Mrs Hinch is actually ruining my Zoflora needs. It’s sold out everywhere and I can’t get my hands on it".
"Think I might have to result to Amazon’s silly prices for it."
A third said: "I’ve become obsessed with her since starting work at Savers, it’s all customers ever talk about.
"Sold out all 65 bottles of Zoflora in the first 15 minutes the shop opened because she posted it on Instagram."
There’s evidence on social media that Zoflora is running out in cities all over the UK, as customers in Leicester, Brighton and Scotland are all complaining to retailers that they can’t get hold of the product.
Mega fans of Zoflora are even stockpiling the disinfectant to make sure they’re safe from Mrs Hinch’s army of cleaning fanatics.
On Instagram thousands of people are sharing snaps of their stash with the hashtag #zofloraaddict.
One wrote on Twitter: "Ive caved and ordered a 12 pack of the 3 Christmas/winter Zoflora’s as I every shop I’ve looked in has sold out. Thank you @Easho for being my trusty back up".
