Vincent Van Gogh's 'Country Road in Provence by Night' Appears Across This 400% and 100% [email protected] Set

Medicom Toy and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum are celebrating the opening of the latter’s “Collecting Van Gogh: Helene Kröller-Müller’s Passion for Vincent’s Art” exhibit with a 400% and 100% [email protected] set. Dressed in a full-color rendition of Vincent Van Gogh‘s Country Road in Provence by Night, a famed oil-on-canvas painting he made in 1890 that’s also known as Road with Cypress and Star, the two-pack of figures presents one of the iconic post-impressionist painter’s final works in an entirely new format.

Both figures hone in on the fine brushstrokes of the work, enlarging its tones and textures to show Van Gogh’s skill and style. Heads are mostly blue to represent the painting’s sky, while the chubby stomachs take on the wheat tones of its fields. Country Road in Provence by Night‘s farmhouse and travelers are placed on the legs. Of note is that this isn’t the first [email protected] Van Gogh’s estate has collaborated on: 2019 saw a special set of figures that featured a print from his Sunflowers still life series.

A raffle for the Country Road in Provence by Night [email protected] 400% and 100% set is open now on the Medicom Toy webstore, and runs until September 5. Each set is priced at ¥19,600 JPY (approximately $178 USD), inclusive of tax, and is accompanied by a ticket to “Collecting Van Gogh: Helene Kröller-Müller’s Passion for Vincent’s Art” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum — which opens on September 18 and runs until December 12.

Elsewhere in the world of collectibles, Leica has released a decorative wooden version of its famed M series cameras, complete with two interchangeable “lenses.”
