The X-Life star Denise Russo has died at the age of 44.
Russo was reportedly found unconscious at a friend’s home in San Diego.
Despite attempts to resuscitate her, she was later pronounced dead.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed, with police investigating.
Drug paraphernalia was reportedly found at the scene, TMZ says.
Co-star and friend Susie Stenberg also told the outlet that, at the time of her death, Russo was homeless and living in her car.
She described the late actress as ‘the most loving and loyal person.’
Stenberg also said the late TV star reached out to her the night before she died to tell her that she loved her.
Fans will remember Russo for appearing on The X-Life reality series in 2011.
There was only one season of the series, which consisted of 10 episodes.
Russo was part of one of the three couples on the show, which followed the lives of extreme sports athletes and their partners.
At the time, Russo was in a relationship with professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon.
They broke up, but shared a son named Leo.
