SteelSeries Launches No-Nonsense Prime Collection Designed for Esports Players

Departing from its usual design aesthetic, SteelSeries has now tapped into the help of more than 100 Esports players to develop a new lineup of gaming peripherals for the most dedicated players out there, named the Prime series.

With serious gaming in mind, the Prime series brings gaming peripherals back to their core fundamentals, doing away with non-essential, flashy features and instead focusing on what really matters: performance. Three gaming mice spearhead the lineup, including the standard Prime, the customizable Prime+, and the hassle-free Prime Wireless. All three have been built to be extremely lightweight to reduce fatigue while carrying top-of-the-line sensors to accurately track the most precise of movements.

Rounding out the new collection is an updated Arctis headset – the Arctis Prime. Described by SteelSeries as “the rally car of headsets,” the latest offering introduces all-new noise-isolating leatherette ear cushions paired with high-fidelity audio drivers to deliver quality audio while reducing background distractions. It also comes with a noise-canceling Discord-certified mic, a detachable 3.5mm cable, and built-in volume and mute controls.

For the serious gamers out there, SteelSeries’ new Prime collection is now available, with the Prime going for $60 USD, the Prime+ for $80 USD, the Prime Wireless for $130 USD, and the Arctis Prime for $100 USD. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.

Elsewhere in gaming, Valve is reportedly developing a handheld PC that’ll run Steam games.
