Reebok Answer IV "Eagles" Nods to Allen Iverson’s Tunnel Fit at the 2001 NBA Finals

During Allen Iverson‘s prime playing days with the Philadelphia 76ers, he not only put on a plethora of jaw-dropping performances on the hardwood, but he made his style both on and off the floor a significant part of his personality. Prior to Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals, the shifty point guard was spotted in the tunnel rocking a custom Eagles jersey that featured his #3 along with a du-rag that was ornamented with his signature Reebok logo, and this upcoming Reebok Answer IV “Eagles colorway nods to that iconic fashion moment.

The palette of these hoop kicks appropriately align with the Philly football franchise’s signature colors. Upper halves split its tumbled leather materials between a clean white hue that covers the collars and mid-foot while the forefoot and toe boxes are drenched in a shimmery emerald-esque green. Small doses of a muted gray also make an appearance on the base atop the sculpted lower midsole and forefoot molds that host the “I3” branding as well as the tongues which are debossed with a Reebok hit. Additionally, the aforementioned du-rag pattern is printed on the interior to further echo its motif.

If you’re interested in copping, you can find these dropping via Reebok and other retailers on January 21 for $150 USD.
