Polo G is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1, with Hall of Fame officially marking his first chart-topper.
According to Billboard, the record earned a total of 143,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 124,000 in streaming equivalent album units (181.9 million on-demand streams of the tracks), 18,000 in album sales just a little over 1,000 in track equivalent album units. Hall of Fame gives Polo G his third top 10 entry following 2020’s The GOAT at No. 2 and 2019’s Die a Legend at No. 6.
Following Polo G at No. 2 is Migos with Culture III, which earned 130,500 equivalent album units. The highly-anticipated series closer accumulated 106,000 in streaming equivalent album units (144.75 million on-demand streams of the tracks), 22,500 in album sales and almost 2,000 in track equivalent album units.
Hall of Fame and Culture III now hhold the second and third-biggest sales week for a hip-hop record this year, following J. Cole‘s The Off-Season from May which earned 37,000 units.
Elsewhere on the chart are Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Durk and Lil Baby and Morgan Wallen at Nos. 3, 4 and 5. Making up the bottom half of this week’s top 10 are TWICE at No. 6, Bo Burnham at No. 7, Maroon 5 at No. 8 and Moneybagg Yo and J. Cole at Nos. 9 and 10.
Elsewhere in music, DaBaby, Logic and GoldLink lead this week’s Best New Tracks.
