The Boston Beer Company and PepsiCo are joining forces to unite the iconic flavors of the beloved pop drink, Mountain Dew, with an alcoholic kick to deliver an exciting refreshment to a new age of MTN DEW fans.
HARD MTN DEW is PepsiCo and The Boston Beer Company’s response to the ever-growing market for hard seltzers and teas. David Burwick, Boston Beer’s CEO said, “We know that adult drinkers’ tastes are evolving, and they are looking for new and exciting flavorful beverages. The combination of our experience in brewing and developing the best-tasting hard seltzers and hard teas, and MTN DEW, a one of kind multi-billion dollar brand, will deliver the excitement and refreshment that drinkers know and love.”
The new HARD MTN DEW flavors are expected to maintain the bold, citrus that fans have grown to love over the years. The new alcoholic drink will be released in original, black cherry and watermelon flavor. HARD MTN DEW is set to hit shelves in select retailers in early 2022.
