It’s official, Jess Harding and Sammy Root have been crowned Love Island champions and fans are over the moon.
After eight weeks of crazy twists and turns, and more drama than we could’ve ever anticipated, the couple made it to the end and scooped the coveted £50,000 prize money.
Following Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes’ dumping in the semi-final, the finalists consisted of Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki , Sammy and Jess and Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas and Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble.
Host Maya Jama dropped into the Spanish villa for one last time to announce the news to Jess and Sammy , with past Islanders all seated for the show.
In typical Love Island tradition, fans also got a glimpse of the lovebirds’ last day in paradise, as they declared their love for one another during a romantic ball before sharing a final dance.

The public vote saw Molly and Zach finishing in fourth place, and the pair also made it official during their declaration.
Molly was sensationally dumped from the villa following Kady McDermott’s arrival, but was brought back during Casa Amor.
Meanwhile, Tyrique and Ella placed third after a turbulent journey. The pair were rock solid but had a bump in the road after Ella came back from Casa Amor with Ouzy See.
Finally, Whitney and Lochan narrowly missed the coveted prize, finishing as runners-up.
