Sophia Bush is allegedly divorcing her husband Grant Hughes after just 13 months.
The One Tree Hill actress is said to have filed for divorce shortly after their one-year anniversary.
According to a source, the split is amicable and the pair are maintaining a friendship.
‘Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service,’ the source began.
They added to People: ‘They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends.’
The pair run the Bush Hughes Foundation, which was set up after their marriage and supports communities in Olkahama’s Tulsa.
Part of the mission statement reads: ‘Now as we merge our lives and build our family together, we are establishing a family foundation to meaningfully give back to the city that is hosting all of us for our wedding.’
On June 11, their wedding anniversary, Grant shared a love letter to his wife on Instagram alongside some snaps of their romantic day at the City County Clerk’s Office.
‘What a full, beautiful, dynamic, exciting, growth-filled year we’ve had together. I truly love doing life with you!’ he wrote.
‘As the card I gave you this morning said: “There are seven billion people on this planet. You are my favourite”.’
The publication reports that Sophia, who was previously married to her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray for five months, also marked the occasion but the post has seemingly been deleted.
The 41-year-old’s last photo with Grant on the social media app is at the start of June. The pair are cosied up at the gala night for theatre show 2:22 A Ghost Story.
Sophia was forced to abruptly pull out of the UK play due to illness last month.
At the time, she said: ‘I am truly gutted that my time in 2:22 A Ghost Story has come to an unexpected and early end.
‘I came down with a virus in June and have not been able to bring my body back to a baseline.’
Frankie Bridge has now stepped in to play the character of Lauren in the supernatural thriller until the end of the run on September 17.
