Tokyo-based outerwear brand Goldwin has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection that expands its signature minimalist design cadence. Titled “The Rationality of Layering,” the beacon of this collection is its illustration of artistic layering.
Bringing the overall collection to the surface are three divisions. First up is the Outdoor Range which focuses on comfortable, yet weather-ready outerwear. Included in the offering are GORE-TEX shell jackets, high loft down jackets with PERTEX QUANTUM and GORE-TEX INFINIUM and lightweight insulated pieces with PRIMALOFT Black Eco insulation. Pairing with jackets is a selection of tactical pants. The elevated pieces have been dipped in vivid hues of pine green, brick red, smoky blue, snow white, silver and navy.
Next up is the Lifestyle Collection which blends performance capabilities with everyday wearability. Goldwin’s classic Japanese design styles are seen across GORE-TEX down jackets with KODENSHI down insulation, casual pullovers, relaxed pants and the lightweight puffer-style GORE-TEX INFINIUM series. The lifestyle collection features a warmer color palette with hues of peanut butter, wheat brown, black and silver.
Finishing off the groups is the Athletic Collection which consists of the Light Warmer Jacket crafted with PERTEX QUANTUM AIR for cold environments, compression tights made from recycled nylon and shorts. Additionally, the brand increased its use of recycled down, nylon and polyester fabrics across the entire collection to practice environmental equity.
