Deep fried Cadbury’s Creme Eggs are now available – just in time for Easter

Deep fried Mars bars are old news north of the border.

This Easter, there's a new type of deep fried confectionery that is bound to make your arteries sing.

As part of a recent competition, the Off The Hook fish and chip shop in Airdrie, Scotland put some feelers out there and asked its customers what item they'd like to see added to the menu.

As a prize, the winner not only get their wish granted, but also a huge chippy feast.

The answer came loud and clear.

Back in 2017 another Scottish chip shop offered the dish.

Pizza lovers also saw their favourite dish get a do-over last year, when one Glasgow  pizzeria deep-fried a Mars bar calzone, which does NOT sound like it's for the faint-hearted.

It's been a god time to be alive for Creme Egg fans.

You can now get paid £45 an hour to search for white Cadbury Crème Eggs .

Not only that, but McDonald's is also bringing back Creme Egg McFlurries .
