Actor Lance Reddick, star of ‘The Wire,’ dead at 60 – The Denver Post

Actor Lance Reddick was found dead at his home in Studio City, California, on Friday morning. He was 60.

The actor, best known for his work in “The Wire” and the “John Wick” movies, is believed to have died from natural causes, according to a police source who spoke with TMZ.

The death comes as a shock, as Reddick was in the midst of a press tour for the fourth installment of the John Wick franchise.

He had an interview scheduled for next week on Kelly Clarkson’s show.

Before ‘Wick,’ Reddick was best known for his work on “The Wire,” playing police lieutenant Cedrick Daniels on the hit HBO series and appearing in all five seasons.

Reddick was born and raised in Baltimore and was a graduate of University of Rochester and Yale University.
