Tommy Cannon has said he is “devastated” following the tragic news of his Cannon and Ball partner and best friend Bobby Ball, who has died aged 76 from Covid-19. The comedian died after testing positive for coronavirus.
In a heartbreaking tribute, Tommy broke his silence by writing: “Rock on, my good friend, I can’t believe this, I’m devastated.”
Bobby’s wife Yvonne also shared her thoughts following the death of her late husband.
“I will always miss him, he was so joyful, full of fun and mischievous.”
Phil Dale, who managed beloved comedy duo Cannon and Ball, said: “Bobby was a true comedy star who loved entertaining people and he loved life itself.
“RIP Bobby & my condolences to all his family & friends & the other half of that fantastic double act @TheTommyCannon.”
