This Morning star Josie Gibson has expressed her worries as her son, Reggie James, is due to start school in September.
The 38 year old mum of one revealed she has “struggled” wrapping her head around the change in the amount of time she’ll be able to spend with her little boy once the school routine kicks in.
Speaking to the Mirror, the bubbly blonde said: "I'll be honest with you, it's not my favourite thing in the world. Because someone's taking them off your hands – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
"And I'm used to having my Mondays with Reg – we spend Mondays together, we spend Fridays together so, to be fair, I struggled with that a little bit."
The star has ensured she and her son enjoy a sense of adventure, embarking on a number of holidays and excursions together. She continued: "He woke up the other day and he said, 'Can we go to Mexico today Mummy?' And we've got a little globe we use and he puts a sticker on all the places he's been."
The popular presenter often shares insight into their getaways on social media, recently posting about their time at Camp Bestival, as well as the 2023 Royal International Air Tattoo which she branded “the best day”.
Earlier this year, Josie took her only child to Mexico. While there, she had to take little Reggie to the hospital and after singing its praises, received a number of messages which she took to her Instagram grid to address.
Sharing a sweet selfie with her little boy, she penned: "To those asking Reggie is fine, he's just getting on with it in his brand new cast like a proper little trooper. I thought the Mexican Hospital we went to was incredible and had to give them a lil shout out. Thank you for your messages see you all shortly. P.S. I bought this bikini I have on 12 years ago in Mexico… how mad is that…”
At the time, followers flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts. One said: “Hang on, this is Reggie? I legit thought he was still a baby clearly been a while since you've appeared on my feed! What a handsome little chap.”
Another said: “Reggie is one in a million … have fun”, while a third commented: “Sorry to hear about reggie, great news about the bikini … well done”.
One fan said: “Glad you are ok Reggie, you are so brave. Josie you look gorgeous”, while another added: “Gorgeous boy. I hope he is not in pain. Love the photo of you both. Get well soon Reggie”.
Continuing to the Mirror, Josie explained she loves taking her little boy to a “new destination” regularly and “wanted to take him to as many holiday destinations” as possible before he starts full time school this September.
