Sharon Stone's nephew dies aged 11 months

Sharon Stone’s nephew has died aged 11 months just days after being rushed to hospital with total organ failure.

The 63-year-old actor broke the heartbreaking news on social media with a video tribute in his honour. It came after she urged fans to pray for a miracle.

‘River William Stone – Sept. 8, 2020 – Aug. 30, 2021,’ Sharon captioned the post.

Tributes have been flooding in following the announcement, with a number of Will & Grace stars sending their condolences.

Leslie Jordan wrote: ‘This breaks my heart. I’m in pieces right now.’

Co-star Sean Hayes added: ‘Ugh. I’m sitting here in tears. I’m so sorry, Sharon. What a beautiful boy. Sending all my love to you and your family.’

Debra Messing said: ‘Noooooooooooooo. I am in disbelief. Oh Sharon, there are no words, other than I’m so sorry for your whole family’s loss. I am praying for all of you at this unimaginable time.’

Jamie Alexander penned: ‘Sharon, I’m so very sorry for your loss. This is incredibly heartbreaking. My love, prayers and thoughts to you and your family.’

Sharon took to Instagram on Friday morning to ask fans to keep little River in their thoughts and prayers.

Alongside a picture of the young child surrounded by equipment in his hospital bed, Sharon wrote: ‘My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib w total organ failure today.

‘Please pray for him. We need a miracle🤍💥🙏’

The Basic Instinct star was inundated with messages of support from friends and fans alike as Kate Hudson wrote: ‘Sending light and healing love.’

Ruby Rose added: ‘Praying for River and your whole family.’

River was born in September 2020 and is the son of Sharon’s brother Patrick.
