Prince Philip has been admitted to hospital, it has been confirmed.
The 99 year old has been taken to King Edward VI Hospital in London and will remain there "for a few days".
ITV's royal correspondent Chris Ship broke the news to his 74,000 Twitter followers, writing: "Prince Philip was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London, on Tuesday evening."
He added: "Royal spokesperson says it was taken as 'precautionary measure', on the advice of His Royal Highness's Doctor, after feeling unwell.

"We are told the Duke of Edinburgh is 'expected to remain in hospital for a few days of observation and rest.'
"Prince Philip has been staying in Windsor with the Queen during the lockdown."
Last month, Philip received his first vaccination against coronavirus alongside his 94 year old wife, Queen Elizabeth II.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the news as a royal source said: "The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have today received Covid-19 vaccinations," on 9 January.
While it's unusual for the Palace to have commented on private health matters, the insider explained that it was made public "to prevent inaccuracies and further speculation".
They added: "Her Majesty decided that she would let it be known she has had the vaccination."

The Duke was hospitalised in December 2019 due to an undeclared "pre-existing health condition."
He travelled from Norfolk to London to enter hospital, but the it was, once again, a "precautionary measure."
The news of Philip's hospitalisation comes just days after it was revealed he was expecting his 10th great-grandchild.

His grandson, Prince Harry, announced on Valentine's Day that his wife, Meghan Markle, is pregnant with their second child.
A spokesperson for Meghan, 39, and 36 year old Prince Harry said on Sunday: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."
