Pregnant Marnie Simpson suffering ‘unbearable’ heartburn that has left her unable to speak

Marnie Simpson has opened up on her pregnancy heartburn that has left her in so much pain she is unable to speak.

The 30 year old, who is pregnant with her second son, has been suffering with the condition during her pregnancy, taking to social media to ask fans for suggestions on how to manage it.

Taking to her Instagram story, the former Geordie Shore star wrote: "Guys my heartburn acid reflux is honestly unbearable, I didn’t even know it was possible to be this bad!

"I’ve actually brought the acid up and been sick it’s that intense I need fast effective relief and quick as I can’t cope, Gaviscon and Rennies don’t work AT ALL is there anything that I can take or eat now that will help as I doubt I’ll get any sleep tonight it’s that bad! Please help."

She later said in a video: "Guys, I will never understand how bad this heartburn is.

"Like, it has gotten so out of hand that I physically can’t even talk, I’ve hardly been able to speak to Casey for the past few hours.

"It’s so bad, I’ve not been able to eat or have any dinner. I’m reading all of your suggestions and I’ve tried them all. Nothing works, nothing."

She continued: "There is nothing on the suggestions that I haven’t tried.

"I feel like a lot of the things you’ve suggested makes mine worse. Like milk does not work for me, toast does not work for me.

"I’m about to have a peppermint tea, Casey’s gone down to make us it to see if that actually helps but like I’ve tried all of the medication from the doctors they don’t work, I’ve tried yogurt, I’ve tried everything."

Marnie has suffered from a number of difficulties during her pregnancy, and earlier this month, opened up on being rushed to the doctor in her exclusive OK! pregnancy column.

She wrote: "Over the weekend, Rox, Casey and I went to a lovely lodge in Wales for a relaxing time away. But unfortunately, my bladder took a bad turn as I started to feel really poorly just a few hours after arriving.

"I started to feel really unwell and we were in the mountains, so there were no doctors or hospitals for hours, where I could go and see a specialist. So we had to cut the trip short and go back home.

"I dropped off a sample with my specialist and started a course of antibiotics. So, I’m currently resting and doing what I can to get better. It took a good three to four days for me to feel any kind of progress, which is so frustrating.

"I was in so much pain and the baby feels proper big. I can’t even walk properly, I’m waddling. And the amount of pressure that is on my bladder makes it so uncomfortable. I think I find it more painful than the average person because I have high sensitivity in my bladder.

"So when the baby is pressing down, the doctor said I’m unable to empty my bladder fully because of the difficulties I have already and the way the baby is positioned.

"That’s why I’m constantly feeling like I need the toilet, and why I probably came down with this infection in the first place."
